Long Island Junior June 12-13, 2016
The Challenge Cup comes to Long Island and the Eiesenhower Red Couse. Located in Nassau County, this public course promises to provide a challenge to both the boys and girls competitors.

The Red Course, one of three 18-hole golf courses at Eisenhower Park, has a storied history. Originally, it was part of the exclusive Salisbury Golf Club, begun by wealthy Long Islanders such as A.T. Stewart, a 19th-century retailer and property magnate who created the planned Village of Garden City out of the prairie known as the Hempstead Plains.

The United States Challenge Cup ("Challenge Cup") Junior Golf Foundation was founded in 1980.
It was formally established in 1983, and incorporated as non-profit charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in 1988.  The Challenge Cup was formed to perpetuate the growth of junior golf and to provide young people with opportunities to further themselves in and through the game of golf, under the direction of a well organized and administered program.
